Over fifteen ETA prisoners are on hunger strike since October 28 in the prison of Morón, Seville. According to prison sources, Although his life is not in danger starts them to notice these 14 days without eating. Eleven of these prisoners are in the module of isolation of this penitentiary centre of Seville. The rest are not in isolation and share this measurement of pressure with the Grapo members who have also decided to be on hunger strike.

They say they are sick of the isolation to which are subjected but police sources believe it actually measuring blood pressure it is a declaration of war to the abertzale left that you plan the prisoners to assume collective or individually the damage they have caused with their attacks and who reject violence with the aim of achieving an approach to prisons in the Basque country.

It is not the only incident that is going on in the prisons in recent weeks. According to prison sources, there have been incidents in different prisons between ETA prisoners willing to start to recognize the harm caused to get prison benefits and those who are not willing to give. Are divided between those who they have served three quarters of their sentences and those who still are more than 40 years.

Among the prisoners who are on hunger strike are Iker Aguirre Bernadal, Asier Argalus Goñi, Roberto Lebrero Panizo, Jesús María Goikoetxea Garralde and Manuel González Rodríguez. All belong to the EPPK, the collective of Basque prisoners to hard wing continuous debate by all Spanish prisons.

Iker Aguirre Bernadal is an etarra "liberated" in the pay of the organization who was arrested in France in January of 2007. ETA commissioned him to enter Spain to mount a command somewhere in the Mediterranean coast. Roberto Lebrero Panizo is accused of three bombings.

Police sources are among those who have decided to be on hunger strike is not Iñaki Arakama Mendia, one of the most bloodthirsty members of ETA in the 1980s which has always worked as a spokesman in prison of Morón de la Frontera (Seville). The reason according to these sources is that Arakama Mendia was applied the doctrine Parot and could be another of the ETA that will be released in the coming months.
